Alan Strike Aquatic and Squash Centre
The Alan Strike Aquatic and Squash Centre is the Municipality of Clarington's indoor aquatics facility at 49 Liberty Street North in Bowmanville. Its 25-metre, six-lane leisure pool runs from a shallow 1.08-metre end to a deep 2.75-metre end, with an upper viewing area for spectators. The centre also houses two double regulation-size squash courts with their own viewing area, home to the Clarington Squash Club's court bookings, programs, leagues and tournaments, plus a co-ed whirlpool and sauna. The building is wheelchair accessible with an elevator, offers family change rooms and free Wi-Fi, and has a customer service desk to help with bookings and inquiries. Bowmanville Golf & Country Club
Bowmanville Golf & Country Club is an 18-hole golf course on Middle Road North in Bowmanville, just east of Oshawa. The front nine plays fairly open while the back nine is a real challenge, lined with thick forest along the fairways. The clubhouse is fully licensed and air-conditioned, with a banquet hall seating 60 to 183 people that is used for weddings, receptions and meetings. Bowmanville Tennis Club
The Bowmanville Tennis Club is a volunteer-run, non-profit community tennis club on Beech Avenue in Bowmanville, sharing its grounds with the Bowmanville Older Adults Association. The club operates two outdoor courts, with one kept ready for year-round play when weather permits. Members book courts through the club's online booking system and can take part in club nights, an intermediate ladies league, an adult tennis ladder, open doubles mornings, and volunteer-led introduction-to-tennis programs for adults and juniors. Professional lessons and a junior lesson program are also offered, and junior clinics run by Kane Easter Tennis are open to non-members during clinic hours. Brimacombe
Brimacombe is a family ski area at 4098 Regional Road 9 in Orono, Clarington, operated by the Oshawa Ski Club and running for more than 80 years, less than 45 minutes east of Toronto. It offers 23 downhill runs from beginner to expert, two terrain parks (a beginner progression park and a six-acre main park), and seven lifts including a Magic Carpet for beginners, plus night skiing on 11 trails. The Brimacombe Snow School provides lessons from first-timers to experienced riders, alongside children's camps and programs. Slopeside Skis & Boards at the base of the hill handles equipment rentals, tune-ups and repairs, and retail. Two chalets on site serve food and beverages. Canadian Tire Motorsport Park
Canadian Tire Motorsport Park is a multi-track motorsport venue at 3233 Concession Road 10 in rural Bowmanville, Clarington, operating since 1961 (originally as Mosport Park, rebranded in 2012). Canada's flagship road-racing circuit includes a 3.957 km Grand Prix course, a half-mile oval, a Driver Development Track and a karting complex.
