About This Business
The Bowmanville Tennis Club is a volunteer-run, non-profit community tennis club on Beech Avenue in Bowmanville, sharing its grounds with the Bowmanville Older Adults Association. The club operates two outdoor courts, with one kept ready for year-round play when weather permits. Members book courts through the club's online booking system and can take part in club nights, an intermediate ladies league, an adult tennis ladder, open doubles mornings, and volunteer-led introduction-to-tennis programs for adults and juniors. Professional lessons and a junior lesson program are also offered, and junior clinics run by Kane Easter Tennis are open to non-members during clinic hours. The club is a member of the Ontario Tennis Association and posts its registration forms, waiver and bylaws on its website's Downloads page. Courts generally open in March or April, with the official season opening in May or June.
