Wool On William is a warm, friendly knitting shop in Oshawa where owner Leslie Spencer, knitting for over 30 years, helps visitors learn everything there is to know about knitting, starting with the first stitch. Established in 2014, the shop has become a small-town gem for knitters, crocheters and everyone in between, stocking yarns including hand-dyed skeins like Sweet Georgia, plus needles, hooks, patterns and buttons. If you are struggling with a pattern or have dropped a stitch, the team is there to help. Open Tuesday to Saturday 10am-6pm and Sunday 10am-5pm.
