About This Business
Winter Ballscrew Services operates a precision ballscrew repair and refurbishment centre in Bowmanville serving customers across North America. The company repairs or replaces all makes, models and sizes of ball screws, inspecting each ballscrew the same day it arrives and quoting the repair alongside a replacement option. Where exact replacement parts are unavailable, it machines custom parts to equal or better specifications. Services include rush (emergency reload) repair, a typical five-day turnaround for standard repairs, expediting to minimize downtime, and fast, economical replacement options. The company notes that 35 to 70 percent of used precision ball screws can be refurbished to like-new condition with a warranty, typically at 50 to 60 percent of the cost of new.
