About This Business
The Whitby Brass Band is a community brass band founded in 1863, making it one of Whitby's longest-running musical institutions. The band rehearses at the Centennial Building, 416 Centre Street South in Whitby, and performs free summer concerts at Heydenshore Pavilion, 589 Water Street, among other community appearances. A Junior Band program has been part of the organization since the 1950s, offering young musicians a pathway into brass band music. New players are welcome to join by contacting the band through its published email.
