The Uxbridge Business Improvement Area (BIA) is a group of local businesses and commercial property owners working together to enhance downtown Uxbridge. Funded through a levy, the BIA focuses on beautification, promotion and economic development: decorating downtown streets with flower baskets in spring and snowflake lights in winter, running signature events such as the Extravaganza Egg Hunt, the Spooky Trick or Treat Trail and Ladies Night, and maintaining a free online directory of its 250-plus member shops and services. The BIA is governed by a volunteer board of management and reports to Council twice a year.

100 Men of Scugog

100 Men of Scugog is a charitable giving circle of local men supporting Scugog-area charities. 100 Women Who Care Uxbridge

100 Women Who Care Uxbridge is a volunteer-run philanthropic giving circle in Uxbridge. The 1st Uxbridge Scout Group is Uxbridge's local Scouts Canada group, established in 1922 and serving the Uxbridge, Ontario community for over a century.
