Tyrone Mills Limited is a traditional water-powered mill in the Tyrone area of Bowmanville, in continuous operation since 1846. Over its history the mill has worked as a grist mill, flour mill, lumber mill, apple cider producer, bakery and rural community centre, and today it still uses its water power in lumber manufacturing and flour production. The mill shop sells cedar and pine lumber for decks, siding and flooring, custom moulding, plus apple cider, baked goods and country-store products. It is open year-round for visitors.
