About This Business
The Horseman's Word Ranch is a 30-acre Parelli natural horsemanship facility in Uxbridge, Ontario, run by licensed Parelli professionals Todd Owens (3-Star Instructor) and Maureen Owens (2-Star Instructor). The ranch offers lessons for horses and humans incorporating theory, simulations, problem-solving and play in the Four Savvys — Online, Liberty, Freestyle and Finesse — as well as workshops, clinics and gallery-student attendance. Students can trailer their horse to the ranch or have Todd and Maureen travel to them. Facilities include a Parelli playground with all the Parelli obstacles, trailer-loading practice areas, large spring-water ponds for horses to swim in, woods for trail riding, a Parelli honeycomb, and a heated classroom with a vault of Parelli educational material. The ranch also runs a working student program and publishes a 2026 clinic schedule.
