About This Business
A City of Pickering-operated living-history museum on the banks of Duffins Creek in Greenwood, with 19 restored heritage buildings dating from 1810 onward, including a blacksmith's shop, log barn, schoolhouse, temperance inn and chapel. The village offers guided group tours, rotating special exhibitions, school field trips, an Adventure Hub, Discovery Kits, birthday parties, facility and wedding rentals, and a volunteer programme. It operates seasonally; the published 2026 summer season ran Wednesdays to Sundays with group tours at 11:00 am and 1:00 pm, and current-season schedules are posted on the official site. Admissions are handled through the Dorsay Community & Heritage Centre at 2365 6th Concession Road, Pickering.
