About This Business
North Durham Pickleball Club is a not-for-profit pickleball club serving North Durham. The club began in 2009 as the Port Perry Pickleball Club and was renamed in 2019 to reflect its wider membership. It welcomes players of all ages and skill levels, from beginners learning the basics to experienced competitors. The club plays indoors at the Scugog Community Recreation Center at 1655 Reach Street in Port Perry, and outdoors in summer at Greenbank Park. Members enjoy two tournaments a year with lunch and beverages supplied, an annual social with a meal, ladder play, and notifications about events and schedule changes. Annual membership is $30; a membership is not required for drop-in play at the recreation center, where the facility charges a daily fee. The club's mission is to promote the physical and mental benefits of pickleball in a fun, safe, positive and inclusive environment.
