About This Business

The nursery specializes in growing more than 150 species of native sedges, grasses, wildflowers, shrubs and a few trees, grown primarily from seed following established native-plant growing guidelines. It serves home gardeners, schools, landscapers, other nurseries and conservation and restoration organizations. Products include potted native plants, wildflower and butterfly garden kits, seed, boxed plants couriered across Ontario, and gift certificates, and the nursery offers a garden design service. Its retail operation is seasonal, so check the nursery's own website for current seasonal hours before visiting.
