About This Business
Myokinesis Therapies is a registered massage therapy clinic at 3 Harwood Avenue South, Unit 201, in Ajax, Ontario. The clinic's name combines 'myo-' (relating to muscles) with 'kinesis' (movement), reflecting its stated aim of helping clients get back to moving again. The practice is led by Justin Ricaplaza, RMT, alongside fellow registered massage therapist Mona Lisa Ashkar and office manager Jennifer Ricaplaza. The clinic provides individualised treatment plans aligned with each client's therapeutic needs. Its stated approach places weight on proper assessment leading to effective manual therapy treatment, drawing on knowledge of muscular imbalance and pathologies to assist in managing pain and supporting a healthy return to functional mobility. Treatments are intended to help with discomfort associated with everyday occupational stresses, muscular over-use and other chronic pain conditions, as well as both acute and chronic conditions caused by injury, and can assist in tandem with physical rehabilitation. The clinic offers massage therapy sessions in 30, 45, 60 and 90 minute durations, with listed prices of $75, $96, $120 and $170 respectively. All of its therapists are registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario, and the clinic offers direct billing with most insurance companies, providing receipts where its system does not support a specific insurer. Appointments are booked online through the clinic's Jane app booking portal, and a 24-hour notice is requested for cancellations. Note: the official website publishes no phone number, email address, or opening hours.
