About This Business
The largest conservation area owned and managed by the Central Lake Ontario Conservation Authority, covering about 400 hectares in the heart of the provincially significant Oak Ridges Moraine in Clarington. More than 18 km of marked trails of varying difficulty wind through mature forest, plantation, wetland and meadow, supporting year-round hiking, birding and photography. The area protects headwater tributaries of the Bowmanville and Soper Creek watershed and is considered an important core wildlife area. A free downloadable trail map is available through the Avenza Maps app.
