About This Business

Living Water Community Church is a Pentecostal church serving Uxbridge and Georgina, led by Lead Pastor Markus Brandt with a pastoral team covering community and care, teens and youth, and children's ministries. Its mission is to share the good news of Jesus Christ with every person in Uxbridge and the surrounding area, to be a place where all - including the hurting, depressed, frustrated and confused - can find acceptance, guidance and hope, and to welcome new members into a church family of worship, prayer, Bible study and small groups. The church also partners with Young Life North Durham in youth outreach and supports missionary work and new church planting. Contact the church at (226) 899-9327 or by mail at PO Box 341, Uxbridge, ON L9P 1M8. Charities

100 Men of Scugog

100 Men of Scugog is a charitable giving circle of local men supporting Scugog-area charities. Members gather for one-hour meetings at the Port Perry Legion, where three local charities each give a five-minute presentation and answer questions; members then vote and each writes a $100 cheque directly to the winning charity. Every dollar goes straight to local charity — there are no committees, no bank account and no fees. Founded in January 2015, the group celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2025 and has raised nearly a quarter of a million dollars for Scugog-area charities to date, including creating a bursary for Durham College students. New members are welcome at quarterly meetings.

100 Women Who Care Uxbridge is a volunteer-run philanthropic giving circle in Uxbridge.
