About This Business
LH Therapy is the Port Perry, Ontario psychotherapy practice of Leslie Hein, MA, a Registered Psychotherapist. She provides neurodivergent-affirming therapy for kids aged 12 and older, teens and young adults — neurotypical and neurodivergent — navigating Autism, ADHD, FASD, anxiety, overwhelm, emotional regulation challenges, stress, self-esteem, identity questions and life transitions. Her approach is collaborative, client-centred and strengths-based: playful and relational with younger clients, using conversation, creative tools, arts and crafts and games to help them explore emotions and build connection. Before starting her own practice, she worked for almost 10 years as an addiction counsellor through hospitals and community organizations. Casey, a miniature dachshund, is a regular part of the LH Therapy office and often present during sessions. Parents and caregivers are welcome into sessions when it feels helpful. Enquiries are taken through the contact form on the practice website.
