About This Business
Kumon of Whitby - Dundas & Brock is an after-school learning centre inside the Whitby Columbus Club offering the Kumon Math Program and the Kumon Reading Program for children. The math programme builds skills from counting and kindergarten readiness through addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, fractions, graphs, algebra, trigonometry, calculus and probability and statistics. The reading programme develops pre-reading skills, vocabulary, grammar and punctuation, sentence building and reading comprehension, aiming to take children from learning to read to reading to learn. Students complete daily worksheet practice with instructor guidance, and Kumon Connect allows worksheets on a tablet with progress tracking for parents. Centre hours are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm ET.
