Groveside Cemetery is a municipal cemetery at 5155 Baldwin Street South in Whitby, founded in 1874 and now spanning twenty-six acres, fourteen in active use. Operated by the Town of Whitby (Cemetery Operator Licence No. 3267505; Groveside Licence No. CM-2000509), it offers traditional casket interment, cremation burial in the Garden of the Four Seasons, cemetery lots, perennial gardens, a cinerary tree and a columbarium. The Groveside Cemetery Board also oversees Dryden, Myrtle and Hubbell cemeteries and the Hemingway Gravestone monument. Visa, MasterCard, Interac e-Transfer and Debit are accepted at the cemetery office.
