About This Business
The Bowmanville Dr. Ross Tilley YMCA Child Care Centre provides licensed child care for children in a stimulating environment where they can learn, grow and thrive. Programs follow a curriculum designed to help children reach their full potential; qualified early childhood educators facilitate play experiences that build foundational skills. All centres have access to outdoor spaces and activities. The centre uses the YMCA Playing to Learn curriculum, focused on fostering children's enthusiasm and capacity for lifelong learning through active and quiet play, developing social, emotional and physical growth, confidence and school readiness. Before and after school care hours are 7:00 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. and 3:35 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The location also delivers the YMCA Early Learning and Care programs, Licensed School Age programs, EarlyON Child and Family Centres (free, drop-in, for children up to age 6 with parents or caregivers), and Y Day Camp, which operates from Oscar Peterson Public School with swimming off site. Published regular hours: Monday to Friday 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; closed Saturday and Sunday.
