Darlington Provincial Park is a 208-hectare recreational provincial park on Lake Ontario in the Darlington community of Clarington, established in 1959. It offers family camping across three campgrounds (Lakeside, Cliffside and Hilltop), group camping and picnic shelters, day-use picnic areas, a long sandy beach for swimming, nature trails, interpretive programs and special events, winter hiking and snowshoeing, fishing, birding and canoeing. Day-use permit holders are admitted between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.; in 2026 day use runs January 1 to December 31 and camping runs May 1 to October 18. Contact: 905-436-2036.
