Whitby's large multi-use community park, anchored by a 250-person Special Events Area with a covered shelter, 20 picnic tables, kitchen facilities and washrooms - rentable for weddings, corporate events and family gatherings. The park also features paved walking trails, picturesque gardens, the Wounded Warrior Park of Reflection, sports fields and courts, and a trail connection toward Heber Down Conservation Area. Picnic-shelter rentals run May through October; alcohol is not permitted in Whitby's public parks.
