About This Business

The Cannington Horticultural Society is a volunteer-run, non-profit gardening organization serving Cannington, Sunderland and the surrounding Brock Township area for more than 50 years. A member of District 17 of the Ontario Horticultural Association, the society runs expert guest-speaker evenings, an annual plant auction, open gardens, and flower, vegetable and photographic competitions, and carries out beautification projects in both the Cannington and Sunderland villages. It also runs a youth program encouraging gardening and environmental awareness among local young people. Regular meetings are held on the last Monday of each month at 7:30 pm at the Cannington Baptist Church, 60 Cameron Street West, Cannington. Annual membership is $15 per person and includes the club yearbook; visitors and new members are welcome.

100 Men of Scugog is a charitable giving circle of local men supporting Scugog-area charities. 41 Port Perry Army Cadets

The 41 Port Perry Army Cadet Corps is a free youth program for ages 12 to 18, and the fourth-oldest cadet corps in Canada, formed in 1898 and affiliated with the Ontario Regiment.
