About This Business

The Sunderland Branch of the Brock Township Public Library serves the village of Sunderland from its welcoming space within Sunderland Public School. The branch began in a small upstairs room over a century ago and grew through the efforts of local volunteers and community groups. Patrons across all three branches share one library card and can borrow books, movies, graphic novels, newspapers, magazines, e-books, audiobooks, museum and attraction passes (including Reptilia Whitby), Chromebooks and Wi-Fi hotspots. The branch offers an assistive-technology computer with high-contrast/large-key keyboards and ergonomic mice, plus year-round programs and cultural activities for all ages. Open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 3-8 pm, Saturday 10 am-2 pm; closed for the annual summer closure August 30-September 7.
