About This Business

The Timothy Findley Memorial Branch of the Brock Township Public Library serves Cannington from the historic 1887 Cannington Town Hall, once home to council chambers, a fire hall and the town's first moving-picture show. Patrons across all three branches share one library card and can borrow books, movies, graphic novels, newspapers, magazines, e-books, audiobooks, museum and attraction passes (including Reptilia Whitby), Chromebooks and Wi-Fi hotspots. The branch hosts programs including a monthly genealogy help session on the fourth Tuesday of each month with an in-house genealogy specialist. Open Tuesday and Friday 2-7:30 pm, Wednesday and Thursday 10 am-3 pm, Saturday 10 am-2 pm; closed for the annual summer closure August 30-September 7.
