About This Business
The Beaverton Branch of the Brock Township Public Library serves Beaverton from a landmark Carnegie Library opened in 1913, one of the few remaining Carnegie buildings in Ontario still used for its original purpose. It is the system's administration branch and home to the business desk, offering a workstation, in-house laptop loans, print/copy/scan and fax services, report binding and laminating. Patrons across all three branches share one library card and can borrow books, movies, graphic novels, newspapers, magazines, e-books, audiobooks, museum and attraction passes (including Reptilia Whitby), Chromebooks and Wi-Fi hotspots. Fall programs include storytimes, creative activities and workshops for all ages. Open Tuesday and Thursday 10 am-7:30 pm, Friday 10 am-4 pm, Saturday 10 am-3 pm; closed for the annual summer closure August 30-September 7.
