Antique Lumber is a reclaimed wood lumber yard in Newtonville (Clarington), founded in 2014 by Michael Loudfoot and John Hinds. The company takes down century barns and outbuildings - 46 reclaimed so far - trims, de-nails and stacks the salvaged old-growth timber inside two 6,000 sq ft buildings, keeping the wood clean, dry and accessible year-round. It offers custom cutting for mantels, shelving and decor beams on its Woodland Mills saw mill, live edge slab and table top flattening on a CanCam 4x8 CNC, stocked live edge slabs in walnut, butternut, maple, oak, white ash and other species, on-site kiln drying in its 65-foot, 4-chamber solar kiln, and kiln drying services for customers.
