About This Business
Volunteer-run registered cat charity serving the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area since 1981, with its mailing address in Pickering. AVA operates without a physical office: rescue cats are cared for in volunteer foster homes and shown for adoption at partnered adoption centres in PetSmart and Pet Valu stores across Durham/Scarborough, Toronto/Vaughan/Brampton and Hamilton. Its programmes include Trap-Neuter-Return-Monitor (TNRM) and feral colony caretaking, cat fostering and adoption, veterinary care (vaccination, spay/neuter, surgeries and medical treatment), a spay/neuter programme, and education on responsible pet ownership. The official site publishes no public phone number and no opening hours; general enquiries go through the site's contact form.
