The Orono Amateur Athletic Association (OAAA) is a volunteer-run community sports club serving Orono Village and the Municipality of Clarington. It organises recreational house league and representative minor hockey from U5 through U18, plus youth house league soccer, with online registration and team schedules and standings on its site. The association operates under the Ontario Minor Hockey Association, the Ontario Hockey Federation, Hockey Canada and the Darlington Soccer Club, and its teams play home games at the Orono Arena.
Orono Arena is a municipally owned arena at 2 Princess Street in Orono, Clarington, operated by a volunteer board. It has a single ice pad, a snack bar, and a community room with a kitchen on the second floor that suits wedding receptions.
