Wee Watch Licensed Home Child Care Whitby/Oshawa West
Licensed home childcare agency serving Whitby, Oshawa West and Brooklin from its Whitby office at 304 Colborne Street E. Operating in the Whitby area since 1987, it connects families with screened home childcare providers whose homes are supported by government-approved Registered Early Childhood Educators (R.E.C.E.) who make unscheduled monthly visits to each home and send parents a written report after every visit. Children follow the agency's Wee Learn and Together Wee Can educational programming, with play-based learning materials tailored to each child's needs from infancy through school age. The agency participates in the Canada-wide Early Learning and Child Care (CWELCC) program and notes that subsidized childcare is available. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm.
